Gene Francis Haas, who is well known as Gene Haas NASCAR, was born November 12, 1952. He is founder, president, and sole stockholder of Haas Automation. He also founded NASCAR team, Haas CNC Racing now known as Steward Haas Racing. Haas graduated from his school California State University Northridge in 1975 with a bachelor of science in accounting and finance. In 1988, Gene Haas started producing enclosed CNC machine center priced at $49,900 below the competitors. Years by years Haas machine tools became extremely popular because they are simple and very affordable prices. Haas Automation is now the largest machine tool manufacturer in United States. Sales over 2008 reached a record reportedly just under $1 billion worldwide.
Steward Haas Racing, formerly was known Haas CNC Racing, is a NASCAR racing team. Racing has long been a passionate of Gene Haas, president of Haas Automation.
